Shenzhen BYD Daimler New Technology Co. Ltd. (BDNT), trading as Denza is a Joint Venture company created in 2010 between Daimler and BYD Auto with the single focus on producing luxury electric vehicles. The company, based in Shenzen produced its one only vehicle, the Denza EV with an electric range of 300km, in 2014 and is one of the Top 20 selling vehicles in China in 2015. Denza’s assembly line, operating since 2013, can produce 40,000 units per year.
