LVXHI Auto is an EV start-up headquartered in Shanghai with its design operations in Turin, Italy. The company is currently constructing its s50,000 plant in the City of Changchun, Jilin Province. The LVCHI EV strategy is to increase its plant size to 550,000 units in 2023. LVCHI has developed three electric car platforms on which it will develop 8 models by 2021. The platforms are:
- CC Platform – to develop 3 city cars and hatchbacks;
- M-Platform – for the development of an SUV, large saloon, and an MPV, and;
- C-Platform – LVCHI sportscar and the Venere.
Based on the presentation by the company, the SUV will follow the Venere in 2019.

Week 10 2018 - LVCHI unveils Venere EV
Chinese EV start-up LVCHI Auto unveiled the 4 seater Venere Gran Turismo EV at GMSI 2018. The powertrain of the Venere EV consists of four electric motors and a 100kWh battery. The differential housing also contains a two-speed transmission to optimize the distribution of torque and power. LVCHI plans to launch the Venere to market in 2019. The Venere is also known as the Urano in China.
