Hybrid Kinetic Electric Vehicles
The Hong Kong-based Hybrid Kinetic Group entered into a Co-Operation Agreement with Pininfarina S.P.A. to design, engineer and create prototypes of Hybrid Kinetic new energy electric vehicles. The transaction is valued at €65 million. The company plans to develop a new micro-turbine range-extended electric luxury sedan to be commercially released in 2020. The range-extended technology was first used by BMW in the BMW i3 REx. Hybrid Kinetic new energy electric vehicles battery technology consists of a graphene-enhanced LTO battery, providing high power and high-C charging and discharging. Hybrid Kinetic also manufacturers electric buses. It’s HK eBus is on technology by Germany‘s MAN. HK claims it has a super battery with a long cycle life and 10-minute fast charging capability under high voltage (750V) and current (500A) providing 45 kilometers range. The HK eBus battery capacity is 70kWh as opposed to 300kWh of its competitors, providing a range of 110km at a top speed of 70km/h. Hybrid Kinetic is to announce two more models at the 2017 Shanghai Motor Show, the K550 five-seater range extended EV and the K750 seven-seater range extended EV. |

2017 Week 12 Strategic Allaince JV to produce new energy vehicles
Hybrid Kinetic entered into a strategic alliance agreement to form a
50/50 joint venture for the production of new energy vehicles with the
Shenzhen Stock Exchange listed Beijing WKW Automotive Parts Co., Ltd.
The Head Quarters of the Joint Venture company will be in Hong Kong. The
partners will capitalize the JV with RMB12 billion, whereby half is in
patents, technological know-how, IP and the balance in cash. The aim of
