The Swedish based electtrick tuck start-up, Volta Trucks AB, is headquartered in Sweden and funded by Byggmästaren Anders J Ahlström Holding AB, a publicly listed investment company. Carl-Magnus Norden and CTO Kjell Walöen founded the startup in 2019 to develops fully electric trucks for commercial use in urban areas.

 Volta plans to unveil its first vehicle in 2020 and commecne street pilots in partnership retailers in London and Paris by 2021. Volta’s business model is a unique ‘Truck-as-a- Service’ rental model.
