HORKI ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Horki is a sub-brand created in 2013 by the Dongfeng-Yueda-Kia joint venture. The Horki electric vehicles strategy is not inspirational as its build on a Chinese Government policy, forcing joint ventures on international companies as a strategy to transfer intellectual property and experience. The result is that the international companies share only their older technologies and model series, which is doomed to fail from a commercial perspective. After all, who wants to buy a new old vehicle?
