The Emgrand EC-7 EV is the electric version of the popular petrol version Emgrand, Geely’s best-selling domestic sedan in China, with over 850,000 sold to date – including 160,000 in the first ten months in 2015. The Emgrand EV also goes by the name Geely Dorsett EV. The popular car was updated in 2017 and rebranded as the Geely Emgrand EV300. The 2017 BEV version also got a PHEV version with a range of 61km. The new model came with luxuries such as keyless entry and improved battery which does not deteriorate in cold weather. The charging system was also improved to benefit from the 60kW public fast-charging network in China.
The 2018 Geely Emgrand EV400 to be listed in March 2018 and offers an improved range of 400km.
