The German electric car company is situated in the City of Aachen. e.GO EV models consist of the e.GO Life city car and eGO MOver autonomous minibus. e.GO opened a pop-up-store in Bonn’s city center in 2018 to showcase the e.GO life which is available in three trims. The e>GO Life is available at the end of 2018, and the company plans to assemble 15,000 units in 2019. e>GO entered into a partnership with Bosch to develop automated valet parking for the e.GO Life and will test the system on 12 e.GO Life’s in 218. Automated valet parking allows property manages to fit 50% more vehicles in a parking area.
e.GO, and ZF entered into a joint venture to develop an autonomous EV minibus. The JV company is named e.GO MOOVE GmbH. The company will deploy test fleets of the self-driving minibus, the e.GO Mover, in 2019.
