FDG Electric Vehicles Limited headquartered in Hong Kong and listed on
the Mian Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange specializes in the
development and production of new energy vehicles and technologies. The
Group structure includes two R&D centers, a battery manufacturing
plant, and vehicle assembly plants.
FDG Electric Vehicles Limited markets its models under the Changjiang
EV brand. The largest of the plants is situated in Hangzhou, Zhejiang
Province and has a production capacity of 100,000 units per year. The
smaller plant in Kunming, Yunnan Province has a capacity of 10,000
commercial vehicles, mainly buses. The company has partnered with Smith
Electric Vehicles in the USA which will distribute the company’s
commercial vehicles in America. |

Week 33 2017 FDG investment develops an EV delivery vehicle in the USA
In the US, Chinese owned and Californian based EV start-up, Chanje, announced that it would introduce its first medium size fully electric delivery vehicle, the V8070 by the end of the year. The V8070, below on the right, has a 100-mile range with a 6,000lbs payload and 7.2kW onboard charger. Chanje has raised funding of $1 billion from various partners including Hong Kong-based FDG Electric Vehicles Limited which manufacturers the Yangtze EV in China.
