
SERES Electric Vehicles
Introduced on the 10th of April 2019, SERES is the third marque auto brand formed by Jinkan Chongqing New Energy. The SERES brand focus on Intelligent Electric Vehicles, utilizing the resources of the group such as the R & D innovation center opened in Silicon Valley in 2016. To date, the company has registered 1,000 patents related to electric drive and autonomous technologies. The company plans to launch a diversified range of electrified models by 2025, including SUVs, cars, MPVs, and sports cars. All SERES vehicles are assembled at the Jinkang Liangjiang Factory, which is located in the Liangjiang New District of Chongqing. The smart factory complex covers 800 acres, claimed by the company to be the "leading in China and world-class." The factory's five major process workshops: stamping, welding, painting, assembly, and battery manufacturing lines is 100% automated through the use of 1,000 intelligent robots. |

2018 Week 30 SF Motors establishes its Chinese EV brand
SF Motors unveiled the SF5 and SF7 in the USA earlier the year. The
Chinese owned company that operates from the old Hummer plant in Indiana
officially launched its brand in Beijing, China this week. SF Motors
will be named Jingou EV in China. Jinguo EV will introduce its first
production model the Jinguo 5 crossover EV to the market in Q3 2019
while production at the 50,000 Chinese plant scheduled for Q2 2019.
Jinguo will provide test-drives for prospective buyers from early 2019.

2018 Week 13 SF Motors reveals its first EV
SF Motors, the Chinese owned EV automaker, recently collaborated with
one of the fathers of the modern electric car, Tesla co-founder Martin
Eberhard to develop an EV or the US and Chinese markets. SF Motors this
week unveiled the much anticipated premium crossover, the SF5. The SF5
is expected to include Level 3 autonomy from 2020 and will compete with
the likes of Byton, the NIO ES8, and Faraday Future. The company expects
to bring the SF5
to market in 2019 and plans to open pre-orders by the end of this year.
