Jaguar c-x75 Concept Car Plug-In Hybrid
Released as a concept car in 2010, the Jaguar C-X75 Concept Car Plug-in Hybrid, is the company’s test model to drive future technology and design. The Super Car appeared in the James Bond film, Spectre as the villains’ vehicle chasing 007 in his DB10. The car produces 778hp through 4 145kW / 194hp electric motors, each driving one of the wheels. It was initially planned to build a limited 250 models from 2013 with an electric range of 32mi / 50km. Jaguar scuttled these plans due to the ongoing financial crisis. Priced at between $1.15million and $1.5million it would have competed with the Porsche Spider 918 (price of 918 with customization averaged around $1.5million).
Achieving a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph) and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and 80 to 145 km/h in 2.3 seconds. The lithium-ion battery capacity has a 15kWh capacity and weighs 185kg / 408lb allowing the vehicle to produce only 28g/km CO².
