SHENZHEN GREENWHEEL ELECTRIC CAR STRATEGY
In May 2017 Guangdong GreenWheel Electric Vehicle Co. Ltd received approval to develop a 50,000 unit plant in Mingcheng Industrial Park in Foshan, Guangdong Province. Greenwheel indicated that the plant would be developed at a cost of $267 million ( RMB 1.783b ). From 2012 to 2017 the company focussed on developing neighborhood electric vehicles. Now that GreenWheel has qualified for EV production it aims to start production of the small crossover V5, which is an electric version of the Weichai Enranger G3.
