The Jaguar I-Pace electric vehicle is a concept premium SUV and Jaguar Land Rover’s first attempt at the technology. Unveiled in November 2016, the British automaker intends to bring a production version to market in 2018. Jaguar launched the production version on the 1st of March 2018 in 4 trims including a limited Launch Edition. First deliveries are set for the second half of 2018. The Jaguar i-Pace battery warranty is 8 years/160,000km. The Jaguar i-Pace EV has a boot space of 17.34 cubic feet or 491 liters.

The UK Pricing for the I-Pace entry level is £63,500 followed by the, SE model for £65,000 HSE at £69,995 HSE and the First Edition at £76,900. Pricing in the US starts at $69,500 with the launch edition starting at in the lower $80,000 range. The top of the line twin-engine fully equipped is around $96,000.

2018 Week 5 - Jaguar announces i-Pace release date

Jaguar announced the date it would officially open its order book for the Jaguar i-Pace as March the 1st 2018. The company will also set the pricing on the same date and premiere the much-anticipated EV at the Geneva auto show on March the 6th. The company completed testing of the I-Pace extreme temperature performance at the Jaguar Land Rover cold weather testing facility in Arjeplog Sweden. The testing was successfully completed in -40ºC conditions.

Jaguar also announced improved charging data with the i-Pace being able to charge in less than 45 minutes to 80% via a 100kW system. This is a 100% improvement from the concept vehicles 90 minutes announced in 2017.
