ICONIQ ELECTRIC CAR STRATEGY
wattEV2buy explores the Iconiq electric car strategy and list the Iconiq EV models, news, and sales as it vies for a position in the fast-growing EV market. Iconiq NEV Co.Ltd settled its assembly plant in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province and construction is in two phases, each phase providing 200,000 annual capacity. The Chinese NEV start-up is focused on producing MPV’s. The first EV MPV to be manufactured is expected to be the Iconiq Seven. The company is also developing autonomous vehicles and partnered with Microsoft and AKKA Technologies to develop a Level 5 self-driving MPV to be unveiled at the 2020 Expo Dubai. The Middle East is a key market for Iconiq NEV. The company will test it’s self-driving technology in China and the Masdar Smart City in Abu Dhabi. Iconiq already has orders for 10,000 ICONIQ SEVEN MPV’s from the Abu Dhabi Police force and CITIC Group.
