Henan Suda applied for a patent to produce an electric vehicle based on the Suzuki SX4 sedan in 2013. The Henan Suda Yinse, initially named the SD02 was introduced in small volumes in the company’s home province, Henan, as pilot projects. The vehicle was also available in a lead acid battery configuration, with a range of 150km as opposed to the 260km with the lithium-ion pack.
