Great Wall C30 EV
GWM is giving the six-year-old GWM C30 small sedan, previously released under its defunct Voleex brand a new lease on life with an electric variant. The Great Wall C30 EV, released in May 2016, is the company’s first production version electric vehicle in its attempt to evade penalties and comply with the Chinese Government new strict emission regulations. The GMW C30 is not one of the most ambitious attempts to enter the electric vehicle segment and is more reflective of GWM’s conservative approach to determining where this new market is going.
