DS E-TENSE CONCEPT EV COUPÉ
DS E-TENSE Concept EV is a coupé pure electric car introduced by DS Automobile, the luxury brand within the PSA Group (Peugeot, Citroën, and DS) at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show. The E-tense is a high-performance electric GT with a carbon fiber chassis. The E-Tense was publicly unveiled driving with DS’s DSV-01 Formula E race car in a promotional event for the DS Virgin Formula E team. The PSA Group announced in April 2016 that its first electric vehicles would be available 2019 through 2021, leading speculation that a production version of the E-Tense would be available at the turn of the decade. Other than its peers, where an electric motor per wheel is mostly deployed, the two Siemens AC electric motors turn a common shaft gaining some weight advantage.
