wattEV2buy explores the Chery Karry electric car strategy and list Chery Karry EV models, news, and sales as it vies for a position in the fast-growing EV market. Karry is a subsidiary of Chery Auto and in 2017 sold 6,756 electric cars and listed two models, the YoYo and K50. Karry will from 2017 onwards launch a total of 22 models of which 11 will be light delivery and multipurpose vehicles, six special purpose vehicles such as dump trucks etc and seven passenger cars. Karry opened 110 new stores in 2017 while upgrading a further 95 of its 265 dealerships as it targets 200,000 units in 2018.
