Week 36 2018 - Exceed to be first Chery produced EV in Europe
The German publication Frankfurter Allgemeine reported that the Chinese manufacturer Chery wants to sell and develop electric cars in Europe. According to the report, Chery CEO Chen Anning told the publication that Chery plans to construct an assembly plant capable of producing electric vehicles close to Frankfurt early 2019. Mr. Anning went further saying that he expects the first car to come off the line in 2020 would be the Cherry Exceed TX Crossover.
