BAIC EX300L SUV EV
The BAIC EX300L SUV EV, based on the Senova X55 which is built on the SAAB X55 chassis. When the BAIC EX300L was unveiled at the Bejing Auto Show in 2016 it was earmarked for the Chinese market in mid-2017 as competition for the BYD SONG EV and SAIC ROEWE RX5 EV. However, BAIC introduced a more advanced longer-range version, the BAIC EX400L SUV at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2017. Subsequently, the company introduced the BAIC S5 to the press in July as the production intent EV but did not specify which of the two drivetrains would be used at the time.
