MAHINDRA REVAi G-WIZ

Sold in 26 between 2001 and 2012 and the best-selling EV of the previous decade, the Indian produced small micro electric car, the REVAi. Branded as the G-Wiz for the UK, its main market. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration classified the Mahindra REVAi G-Wiz as a Neighbourhood Electric Vehicle in the USA. The three-door hatchback did not qualify as a highway capable vehicle in most other markets as well, with Europe classifying it as a  heavy quadricycle. The Mahindra REVAi G-Wiz Up to 2009, it was the best-selling EV in the world. Criticism for the REVAi included its appalling safety record, looks and power. Top Gear magazine voted the G-Wiz as one of the top 13 worst cars of the last 20 years.
